OUR HISTORY

Christ The Lord Gospel Ministries Inc. (CLG Ministries) is the modified name of the

Outreach Ministry (formerly known as "Fishers of Men") of Christ the Lord Gospel

Church (CLGC) under the leadership of Apostle Emmanuel K. Apau.

Apostle Emmanuel Apau founded the Fishers of Men Ministry in Ghana, West Africa,

in 1994. Ever since, the ministry has devoted its course to the Great Commission, witnessing

the gospel to people within and outside the borders of Ghana.

With the support of New Birth in 1995, CLGC sent emergency food and supplies to the Northern Region of Ghana to relieve the natives of severe economic hardships due to the Konkomba–Nanumba and Dagomba and Gonja inter-tribal wars in 1994, and to the Liberian refugee Camp in Central Region of Ghana.

The mission to proclaim the gospel, to connect the purpose and urgency of the Great Commission to the heart of contemporary Christians, and to engage in acts of kindness globally is basal to the modification and internationalization of the name.

CLG Ministries reaches out to the lost with the Gospel as enshrined in 2 Corinthians 5:18-21:

"Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation"  in light of Matthew 28:16-20.

Fundamental to our purpose and mission statements is our commitment to acts of kindness as Christ our Lord personally directed in Matt. 25: 35:40.

Pastor Elijah Apau and comrades are most grateful and humbled to be commissioned by Christ Jesus, the Lord, of the harvest, into this end-time mega harvest manifestations.

We cast the net into the deeps as the Holy Spirit directs. This is an end-time revival and outpouring of God's love upon all flesh through the Knowledge of Christ. It is "Christ Manifest."
