GOD

We believe in One indivisible God, infinite and eternal Spirit, the creator and sustainer of all things who eternally exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. These three are One in essence, in attributes and in nature but distinct in Person and functions. Each Person of the Trinity is worthy of the same worship, praise, adoration and obedience. We believe man is answerable to God in every facet of human life.

(1Cor. 8:6; 2 Cor. 3:17, 13:14; Col. 2:9; Jn 1:1-3, 10:30; Matt. 1:23, 28:19; Is. 9:6, 44:6; Rev. 1:8)

GOD THE FATHER

We believe that God the Father is the first person of the Trinity and the source of all that God is and does. From Him the Son is eternally generated and from them the Spirit eternally proceeds. He is the source of all of creation, the sovereign of history, and the originator and perfection of creation’s redemption.

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Christ is the second Person of the Holy Trinity; eternally begotten of God the Father. He has existed from eternity with the Father. He is coequal, consubstantial and coeternal with the Father.

He was conceived of the virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is perfectly God and perfectly human, possessing both natures in one person. We believe His personhood is harmoniously consistent with these two inseparables but distinct natures in one essence. He is the very fullness of the Godhead by whom all things derive their being and existence.

John. 10:30-38, 8:58, 1:1-4, 14, 15:5; Col. 1:15-17, 2:9-10; Acts 20:28; Is. 7:14, 9:6; Matt. 1:23

HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity who eternally proceeds from the Father and the Son. He is coequal, coeternal and consubstantial with the Father and the Son.

He was active in creation and in the ordering of the universe. He is the Sovereign agent of God's redemptive work.

He baptizes new converts into the body of Christ. He indwells every Christians for our progressive sanctification into Christlikeness. He empowers believers to live, love, walk, serve and lead as Christ.

MAN

We believe human beings were directly and distinctly created by God as man and woman in His very image and likeness and not the product of evolution.

Humankind-body, soul and spirit-is created with authority, power and dominion to be fruitful, multiply and subdue the earth, and to worship and glorify God. The willful disobedience of Adam and Eve brought condemnation and separation from God. This resulted in mankind’s physical and eternal death, culminating in all human predicament, depravity and calamity.

Gen. 1:26-28, 2:7-17, 3:1-19; Ps. 8:4-6; Rom. 3:23, 6:23, 3:10-18, 5:12, 8:18-23.

SALVATION

We believe that redemption of humanity is entirely God's gracious gift, completely independent of humans' efforts.  The believer is eternally regenerated and reconciled with God exclusively by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus through repentance from sin, and by faith alone in Christ as Lord and savior. God cleanses, justifies, redeems, positionally sanctifies and glorifies the believer who is born again in Christ and declared righteous by the Holy Spirit.

Jn 3:3-18, 1 Jn 2:2; Is. 53:4-5; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Pet. 2:24; Rom. 10:9-10, 5:1; Gal. 2:16

THE CHURCH

We believe the Church is the body of Christ and is both local and universal. As a universal church, it constitutes all believers both past, present and future. As a local assembly, it comprises baptized believers who are commissioned by the Lord Jesus to evangelize the lost, disciple believers and equip them for the work of ministry.

We believe  the  local church is commissioned to organize the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's supper. We believe the Holy Spirit is the life,  sustainer and preserver of the church. We believe all the five-fold ministries and and the spiritual gifts are applicable and functional today as they were in the early first century church.

JESUS, IS OUR STRENGHT
